Mahatma Osumanu Otoo (born February 6, 1992 in Accra) is a Ghanaian footballer, who plays for Ghana Premier League club Hearts of Oak.

Career

Otoo began his career on youthside for Sporting St. Mirren who signed him on his first professional contract when he was only 16 years old on 30 October 2008.[1] He earned the discovery player of the season title in the 2008/2009 season.[2] Otoo signed for the 2009/2010 season with Accra Hearts of Oak SC[3] finishing the season with a consecutive individual title wining the Ghana Premier League’s best player of the season.[4] Mahatma signed a contract for three months loan contract with the Tunisian club Esperance Sportive de Tunis[5][6]

International career

After his successful first season was called up for the Black Stars for the friendly game on 1 October 2009 against Argentina national football team[7] and played in the game his internationally senior debut[8] and played formerly in the Ghana national under-17 football team.[9]

In September 2011, Mahatman played for Black Meteors of Ghana in the 2011 All-Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique. He was a top goalscorer of the tournament with 4 goals in 4 games.
